This study on Harmonization of Marine National Parks Management is an effort of the Marine Protected Area Governance-Coral Triangle Support Partnership (MPAG-CTSP) to provide strategis input to the Ministry of Marine AFfairs and Fishery (MMAF). It is being done by in anticipation of the Ministry's assumption of management for seven Marine National Parks currently managed by the Ministry of Forestry (MoF). The analysis found that there are many differences in how Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fishery and Ministry of Forestry handle the aspects of management, both in terms of quantity and quality. This study conducted to examine the gaps in the existing management systems so that solutions can be found to achieve management targets more effectively.
