A proper planning in all sectors is needed by a company to be able to compete and grow in todays global era. Because in a company engaged in services or manufacturing, we need a proper planning for the company to continue to compete with its competitors. The more appropriate decisions made, the smaller the risk the company loses. To achieve these conditions, companies must be able to reduce costs and maximize profits. One effort is the planning of goods demand be performed in future periods. Because the company that the amount of fixed rate per period of its production, is considered to cause a problem that is piled or shortage of products stock. This can be assisted through this system, because by knowing the number of goods demand forecast by using a calculation of exponential smoothing Winter’s method, expected to be used as a material consideration by the management company to determine the amount of demand for goods.
