Regional Plan of Actions: coral triangle initiative on coral reefs, fisheries and food security

The Coral Triangle region is located along the equator at the confluence of the Western Pasific and Indian Oceans. The CTI Regional Plan of Action is living the non-legally binding document, to conserve and sustainably manage coastal and marine resources within the Coral Triangle region, that takes into consideration laws and policies of each country. At the third Senior Officials Meeting in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea in March 2009, CT6 government recognized the possible need to revisit Section IV-VI in the Plan and takes the CTI coordination committe to continue to advance work on these topics.
