Case Study on the Integrated Coastal Policy of the Republic of Korea
The Republic of Korea is a nation highly dependent on coastal development and shipping for its economic growth. Its leader deemed it important to continuously work towards promoting and strengthening ocean and coastal governance. This case study attempts to document the process leading to the development of ROK's integrated coastal policy. It highlights the lessons learned from the country's experience and evaluates the initial implementation of the policy.
