Regional Guidelines For Responsible Fisheries In Southeast Asia : Responsible Fishing Operations
The FAO Conference adopted the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries (CCRF) in 1995. Following the Cancun Conference in 1992, four years of exhaustive effort by the interested countries of the world resulted in a consensus on the current comprehensive text of the CCRF. The code of conduct for responsible fisheries is a guiding principle on how sustainable fisheries can be achieved at national, regional and international levels in all aspects of fisheries from production to market, every relevant component of the code being used in the necessary action at every level.
