Indonesia is host to the biggest marine and coastal biodiversity in the world, with an estimated 108.000 kilometers (km) of coastline and more than 2.000 species of reef fish. it also home to six of the seven known marine turtle species, and a wide variety of megafauna. Diverse marine life in Indonesia's seas also includes microfauna, such as nudibranchs, seahorses, mollusks, echinoderms, sponges, and myriad undiscovered and unknown to science.
