National plan of action to prevent and combat IUU fishing is intended as a reference for each organizational unit in the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries as an effort to prevent and combat IUU fishing activities in accordance with their duties and functions, and as a reference to conduct coordinating among other relevant ministries/institution on preventing and combating IUU fishing. The purpose of the establishment og the NPOA is to support the management and fisheries development in orderly, responsible and sustainable manner.
