At 36PCM, SEAFDEC is directed to take responsibility on the study;  1 st RTC was organized to gather the information related to eel resources & aquaculture status,  Consideration for the needs to improve conservation & management, SEAFDEC in consultation with its MCs develop Policy Recommendation. Conclusion for future activities: 1) Improve data collection for glass eels stock assessment; 2) Identify and monitor critical habitats including migratory routes; 3) Legalize trading of glass eels within AMSs in accordance with national laws and regulations.
