Abstract/Notes	As we already know, the wealth of aquatic resources was assumed as an unlimited gift of nature. Howeder, with increased knowledge and dynamic development of fisheries after the Second World War, this myth has faded of realization that aquatic resources, although renewable, are not finite and need to be properly managed in order to ensure for their sustainable contribution to the nutrinational, economic and social well-being of the growing world’s population.
