Abstract/Notes	Alive yellowfin tuna capture experiment was conducted to establish the effective capture method for candidate broodstock. The tools applied for capture were rod and reel or hand line with hooks. Methods were surface trolling and vertical trolling from 100 to 30 m mid water from the surface. The result showed, for Northern Bali Sea, the only effective fishing method was hand line and hook.
