Proceedings of the IOC - WESTPAC : Third National Scientific Symposium

The proceedings IOC-WESTPAC Sub-committee meeting decided that the third Scientific Symposium be held in Indonesia in 1994. The theme of the symposium was 'Sustainability of the Marine Environment: An Integrated Scientific Approach to Coastal Area Management with the objectives of encouraging an integrated coastal management approach in order to achieve long-term sustainability of marine resources and environment through exchange of information among marine scientists in the Western Pacific Region.
